Tidal Finance Partners with Edgeware

Tidal Finance is excited to announce a collaboration with Edgeware. Tidal will play an important role in making Edgeware insurance-ready for the tentative future of an open society where DeFi bridges all major ecosystems. The concept of Dual-security insurance will become a reality through Tidal. Tidal’s insurance cover protocol will get liquidity from ecosystem users as well as Edgeware’s on-chain treasury making it more resilient to flash loan-based attacks. This will be deployed on Edgeware EVM architecture with an upcoming Tokyo Network upgrade adding EVM compatibility to Edgeware.

Under this partnership, Edgeware will utilize the TIDAL model to help manage risk for their platform. Tidal will provide insurance cover for Edgeware’s users’ assets and help Edgeware’s insurance fund earn yield.

The team has shown their commitment to the community by giving away >90% of the network to build a strong initial community via a ‘lockdrop.’ Edgeware has committed to pioneering innovation by committing to being a testbed for mechanisms like on-chain identity, quadratic voting, and modular governance among other things.
